# Add SendFlit DNS records at OVHcloud

> Step-by-step: publish the DKIM, SPF and DMARC records for your domain at OVHcloud, then verify it with SendFlit.

Publish the three records SendFlit shows you for your domain at OVHcloud, then verify the domain. This takes about 10 minutes, plus DNS propagation time.

Copy the exact names and values from **Domains** in your SendFlit dashboard, not from this page.

## Before you start

* Your domain's DNS records from the SendFlit dashboard.
* Access to OVHcloud for the domain.

## Steps

  <Step title="Open your DNS settings">
    OVHcloud control panel → **Web Cloud** → **Domains** → select your domain → **DNS zone** → **Add an entry**.

  <Step title="Add the DKIM record">
    Type: **TXT**. Name: `sendflit._domainkey` (or the name the dashboard shows). Value: copy the full value from the dashboard.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add the sending (SPF) record">
    Type: **TXT**. Name and value: copy both from the **Enable sending** section of the dashboard. Use the name the dashboard shows, which is either the root domain or your return-path subdomain.
    If a record already starts with `v=spf1` on the same name, merge the new part into it instead of adding a second one.

  <Step title="Add the DMARC record">
    Type: **TXT**. Name: `_dmarc`. Value: copy it from the dashboard.

  <Step title="Save and verify">
    Save the records, then click **Verify DNS records** in the dashboard, or run:

    ```

## OVHcloud notes

* Choose **TXT**. Leave the subdomain empty for the root record.

## Check the records yourself

dig TXT sendflit._domainkey.yourdomain.com +short
dig TXT yourdomain.com +short
dig TXT _dmarc.yourdomain.com +short
```

Each command should print the value you added.
