SendFlit has official SDKs for seven languages. Each one wraps the same v1 REST API, so the concepts are the same everywhere: an API key, an email object with from, to and subject, safe retries with an idempotency key, and errors that carry the HTTP status and response body. Pick your language below. Every SDK page follows the same order, so you can switch languages without relearning the layout.

Choose an SDK

If an install command can’t find the package, the first release isn’t live in that registry yet. Check the SDK’s repository under github.com/Sendflit for the current status.

Method coverage

Every SDK sends email. Management methods vary a little by language, because each SDK covers the parts of the API its users most often need. Check the table before you write code, and see the method reference at the bottom of each SDK page. If you need a capability marked “No”, call the REST endpoint directly. The API reference lists every endpoint with its request and response shapes.

What every SDK does for you

  • Authentication. Each request sends your key as Authorization: Bearer re_....
  • Retries. Requests that fail with 429 or a 5xx status are retried with backoff. The default is 2 retries. See Errors, retries and limits.
  • Timeouts. Each request stops after 15 seconds by default. Set a different value when you create the client.
  • Errors. A failed request raises an exception that carries the HTTP status and the parsed response body.
  • Webhook verification. Each SDK checks the X-Sendflit-Signature header against the raw request body. See Webhooks.

Keep your key out of code

Read the key from an environment variable, such as SENDFLIT_API_KEY, and never commit it to source control. Use a separate key for each environment and give each key the smallest scope it needs. See API keys.
