Email clients render HTML differently from browsers. The @sendflit/email-components package gives you components that use the table-based, inline-styled markup that renders reliably in Outlook and Gmail. In this tutorial you build a password-reset template, preview it locally, and send it.
You’ll need: Node.js 18+, React 18+, and a verified sending domain with an API key.
1

Install the packages

2

Build the template

Every component accepts a style prop if you want to change its defaults.
3

Render and preview

render() returns a complete HTML document. Write it to a file while you design:
render() runs on the server only, because it uses react-dom/server. Don’t call it from a client component.
4

Send it

The idempotency key includes a timestamp so each reset request sends its own email. Use a stable key for emails that must be sent once per event.

Next

  • Store the rendered HTML as a reusable template with POST /v1/templates, or send through the API with template_name and variables.
  • See the component reference for every component.
